Rotterdam is no stranger to water. 80% of the city sits below sea level and we face the effects of climate change on a daily basis. As one of the first cities in the world to release a comprehensive Resilience Strategy, Rotterdam is keenly aware of how solutions and interventions can yield multiple benefits. A new water square Frederiksplein is one such solution.
