A new report highlights the lessons of Japan’s 2011 earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster, the world’s deadliest catastrophe in a decade, underlining how they fed into the creation of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction. The study also addresses disaster displacement - around 150,000 people were displaced, and 66% remain scattered across the country.
