The objective of these guidelines is to provide the necessary concept and know-how to the communities and local construction workers for earthquake resistant construction of non-engineered rural and suburban houses using locally available materials in earthquake prone regions of Pakistan. These guidelines are targeting government officials, partner organizations and trainers and may be used as technical reference. It will be the basis of training and capacity building.
