Description
The Department of Geology offers Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental and Natural Disaster Management as Module II Programme. The programme of study is for one academic year, leading to the award of the Postgraduate Diploma. The programme consists of lectures, coursework, seminars examination and a project dissertation. There will be a fourth term, during which students will undertake a project assignment culminating in a written dissertation.

Applications must be graduates from recognized universities in any of the following discipline areas; geology, meteorology, engineering, hydrology, land development, geography, architecture, environmental science, and urban and regional planning or have other qualifications approved by the University of Nairobi Senate.

Application forms for the postgraduate programmes are obtained from the Board and the completed forms accompanied with copies of degree certificates and academic transcripts are submitted to the Board of Postgraduate studies which is located at the main Campus on the ground floor of Gandhi Wing.
