Description

The course is designed for public health managers and aspiring professionals providing them relevant knowledge and skills in the filed of Disaster Management and preparedness in a multidisciplinary manner. The MPH programme provides a comprehensive training to students for addressing the various challenges of public health in a disaster situation. The Master of Public Health programme has a total of 51 units, including 18 units of the six core common courses, 18 Units of required courses for the various areas of specialization and 15 Units of research and thesis. In addition, students may take a maximum of six units of optional courses during their second year of study.

Admission Requirement

A Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health, Nursing, MBChB, Dental Surgery, Veterinary Medicine, Education from a recognized University or A Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology, Education, Business Administration or Any other relevant qualification recognized by the University. Applicants may be required to appear for an interview.
